Valentino

Valentino Garavani founded his eponymous Italian luxury fashion house in 1960 in Rome, quickly gaining fame for his haute couture designs that captivated celebrities and royalty. In 1978, Valentino expanded into the fragrance industry, debuting his first perfume, Valentino, which featured a blend of basil, citrus, green accords, peach, carnation, cyclamen, hyacinth, jasmine, rose, lily-of-the-valley, cedar, civet, musk, and oakmoss. Over the years, the brand has introduced several notable fragrances, including the Valentina and Born in Roma lines, which have become staples in the perfume industry. In 2024, Alessandro Michele, former creative director at Gucci, took the helm as Valentino's creative director, ushering in a new era for the brand.
