Jesús del Pozo was a Spanish fashion designer born in Madrid in 1946, known for modernizing Spanish style during the post-Franco cultural movement, La Movida. Launching his first boutique in 1974, he combined inspiration from past Spanish masters like Balenciaga with his own artistic vision, creating elegant, thoughtful, and sculptural designs. In the 1990s, Del Pozo expanded into ready-to-wear, bridal wear, and perfumes, launching Duende (1992) and later the international hit Halloween (1997), which became a signature fragrance of the brand. He passed away in 2011, leaving a legacy of innovation, artistry, and professionalism in Spanish fashion.
